Two stories are notable one from the Wall Street Journal on ThermoFisher (TMO) a potential bidder, but also interested in Phadia AB an allergy testing Co., and the other on a collaboration between GenProbe (GPRO) and Life Technologies(LIFE).
On the short list of buyers is JNJ,Life Technologies and current partner Novartis (NVS).
