Update-3…2:20p Coronavirus Stocks on the Move-Rally Time for Traders
In typical fashion in a momentum market when NASDAQ rallies biotech moves up.Big movers today (see chart below) are: pure play vaccine stocks BNTX, INO, MRNA, NVAX and Dx is strong as well OSUR, QDEL. VIR is up 9.79%!
XBI up a tad from bottom of channel.
Both vaccine and diagnostics are ups today.
Update-2 …9/23/20 11a…The JNJ vaccine appears to be the leader for now: largest clinical study, ease of transport enter Phase 3, one shot adenovirus platform.
This is why the “pure play” vaccine stocks should be viewed as trades not” buy and holds” as any news can create volatility up or down. So you can trade BNTX, NVAX and MRNA but holding big health care stocks with a vaccine in a major trial has a lower stock risk; AZN, JNJ, PFE.

Update-1 9/22/20 Market Gets a Lift Ending 4-Session Losing Streak:NASDAQ up 1.71%, QQQ up 1.86% to $273 level, bounced off support at $260 handle. Healthcare providers have been weak because of ACA concerns with Supreme Court control falling tp Republicans. UNH in two day slide to $294.TDOC having a strong day up 6.23% to $215.

- IBB down 2.95%.
