Alexion (ALXN $66.76 ) beat EPS by $0.09 and beat on revenues and raised EPS.because of orphan drug product Soliris with $204M in sales for quarter. The stock was up 1%.
Cubist (CBST $39.92) stock soared 9.6% on raised revenue outlook with net revenues up 24% for the quarter to $201.7M. Cubist EPS declined to $0.33 from $0.50. Cubist’s partner Optimer(OPTR) was also up 9.6%.
