12/23 Dry Period Ahead for the West After Little “Slider” Storm This Week

We may need to wait for an El Nino to kick in because we have a dry period ahead. Luckily we got some PPT last week.

Wet Pattern Through Next Week

You probably heard it by now but the stormy pattern predicted last week by NOAA and most other sites is on its way.

Accuweather is saying biggest storm for NorCal in 10 years. Heaviest-6-12 in. ppt North of San Francisco and 3-6 in. in Sierras.

Sheckter at Mammoth is calling for 1-2 ft of much needed snow in Mammoth by Friday:

Powder weekend for ski areas but potential mudslides in other regions because of prolonged drought.
